Most workers will be housed in a workers camp where full room and board is provided. There will be pre-employment drug testing and a zero tolerance policy will be in effect. You will be working under a standard collective agreement with the contractor, Peace River Hydro Partners, who are responsible for building an earthfill dam, two diversion tunnels, and a concrete foundation for the generating station and spillways. Wages, benefits, vacation, etc. are at the high end of industrial construction in BC and no strike-no lockout provisions are in force.
